How to become a Professional client

In order to protect the public from high potential losses, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), requires all brokers operating within the EU to cap their financial leverage for retail clients on a maximum of 1:30. If, however, the client proves that he can be classified as a “Professional client” the leverage can go up to 1:500. On this page, you will find additional information on professional client classification and how to become a professional client.
