Professional clients can count on:

Warning: The retail client is entitled to more protection under the law than if the client were treated as a professional client. In summary, the protections for retail clients that do not apply to professional clients are as follows (the list may not be exhaustive):

Margin rates for professional clients are lower than for retail clients.
When talking to our retail clients, we need to use clear language and use balanced statements when talking about the risks and benefits of leveraged trading. We can use more sophisticated language when talking to our professional clients.
We are entitled to assume that a professional client has the necessary experience and knowledge to understand the risks associated with the particular investment services or transactions, or types of transaction or product, for which the client is classified as a professional client.
When we execute an order from a retail client, the best execution will be determined in relation to the total consideration, which represents the price of the financial instrument and the costs associated with the execution, including all expenses incurred by the retail client which are directly related to the execution of the order. We may give priority to other factors in providing best execution to a professional client, such as speed and likelihood of execution, if we determine that they are equally or more important than total price.
Retail clients may be entitled to compensation from the Investor Compensation Fund for clients of investment firms, while professional clients are not entitled to compensation from this fund.

Requirements

Meet 2 of 3 requirements, mentioned below:

The client has carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 transactions per quarter. All this over the previous four quarters.

The size of the client's financial instrument portfolio, defined as including cash deposits and financial instruments exceeds 500 000 EUR*.

The client works or has worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position, which requires knowledge of the transactions or services envisaged.

* Financial instruments - equities, derivatives (only cash deposits/profits), debt instruments, and deposits in cash.

Clients wishing to be treated as Elective Professional clients shall provide the Company with the relevant evidence to prove the applicability of the abovementioned criteria that they confirmed and indicated to be applicable to them. Failure to provide evidence shall lead to the rejection of the request to be treated as Elective Professional client.
