The most interesting Strategies - Q2 2020

What was the performance of selected Strategies in the second quarter of 2020? Is there anything new and interesting in the list of available Strategies?

The Turtle strategy has been in our offer for a relatively long time, and we are very pleased with its performance so far. The high success rate of its trades and the continuation of high volatility in the markets also had a positive effect in the second quarter, and Turtle once again delivered its investors very interesting gains. As we pointed out last time, the disadvantage of Turtle may be the relatively high setting of the CapitalGuard level, as well as the floating loss of the currently open trades, which need to be considered before entering into an investment.

April: + 3.5%
May: + 1.16%
June: + 5.3%

Stel4x Opti -> Stel Mix Opti

The first change that has taken place in this Strategy since last time is its renaming. The reason is the inclusion of several new systems that have been added to the portfolio by its providers, and which are also newly trading on the stock indices. The second, and much more important change, is the fact that the Strategy has managed to significantly reduce the loss from open positions, which is now within a pleasant range. Last time, we drew your attention to several open loss positions from the end of last year, which were at around -15%, but the Strategy was able to cope with this and gradually closed these positions during June. The overall gains do not seem very interesting at first glance, but we can still evaluate it as a successful quarter considering the above.

April: + 0.13%
May: + 0.13%
June: - 0.69%

Atlantis Low

Last time we presented Atlantis Low as a newcomer to the Strategy offer. It has a relatively impressive track record and the performance in the closed trades for the second quarter also doesn't look bad at all. The only flaw in the beauty, however, is the floating loss in open positions, and its relatively large exposure towards the GBPNZD pair. We will continue to monitor the situation and see how the providers of this strategy will cope with it.

April: + 1.95%
May: + 1.64%
June: + 1.54%

One of the two selected newcomers for this quarter is the HGM PROINVEST Strategy.

This Strategy also has a relatively long verified trading history, although it has only recently appeared in our offer. We have been discussing a specific model of cooperation with its providers for a long time, and we are glad that we finally found some common ground and solved a few technical obstacles so that everything could work smoothly. Which is probably confirmed by the very good results the Strategy had in the last three months.

A relatively low profit fee may also be of interest to investors, while the relatively higher setting of the CapitalGuard level may be its disadvantage.

The strategy trades in a swing style, ie. it only makes a few trades a week, and it then holds these for several days usually, when looking for bigger moves in the markets. The instruments used are mainly less traded pairs such as CADJPY, GBPJPY, NZDCAD, etc.

April: + 8.89%
May: + 4.03%
June: + 4.81%

Swing Trading

The second newcomer to this overview is the Swing Trading Strategy. Compared to all of the above, this has a significantly shorter verified real trading history, which actually consists of trading only at Purple Trading. However, we were so interested in the trading style and particular monthly results that it would be a pity if you did not at least look at it already. In addition, we recently made an interesting interview with the Italian professional trader behind Swing Trading, which you can read here now.

April: + 16.58%
May: + 9.92%
June: + 5.04%
